Be a Student:
What does that mean? What does that look like? To be a student only means that you are learning something. After finishing school many people look back and realize how easy school was compared to real life. Now that we are older and experiencing real life, we decide that we are fed up with learning and learned "enough". The best students are those that are excited about a subject. When thinking about that now, think about the aspects of your life that you would like to improve.... How can you improve? If you don't have the answers, then you will have to learn them, won't you? It doesn't sound crazy to open a book and learn something new.
I am not saying that you should go back to school, you just need to get advice from an expert. You can get advice through many different channels; books, articles, interviews and anything else that is applicable to your subject. If you want advice on how to get your financial house in order, it would be a good idea to ask someone that actually has their own house in order. Look for people or authors that know what they are talking about. Don't go online and do a search because there are just too many people's opinions, and you don't know what credibility they have.
TIP #1 : LEARN FROM A PRO
TIP #2 : MAKE SURE THE PRO IS DOING IT THEMSELVES.
Anyone can go to business school and get some fancy letters after their name, but why take advice for that reason. Wouldn't you rather get real estate advice from someone that actually own some real estate...?? I know I would!
Good Luck,
JD
